Flooding aftermath in the Coon Creek Watershed
In August 2018, a severe rainfall led to the breach of several dam structures in the Coon Creek Watershed, resulting in devastating flooding downstream. In the aftermath of the flood, the 2019-2021 Water Resources Management cohort worked to improve flood resilience in the watershed by working with the land and its people.
Water Resources Management is a Master of Science degree program housed within the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
