Fees established under §814.70 and §814.705 Wis. Stats. and Monroe County Resolution No. 02-20-02
Payment is required for all Paper Service.
Documents/Papers will be accepted from 8:00a.m. – 4:00p.m. during normal business days at the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office located at 112 S Court Street, Room 500, Sparta, Wisconsin.
Documents/Papers will be rejected for service if appropriate time is not allotted for said service to be attempted/completed.
Paper Service: $75.00
Fee required for each person to be served – at least 3 attempts
Eviction Personal Service: $75.00
The Summons and Complaint will be mailed and attempted three times before posted to the door.
Sheriff Sales: $75.00 at Submission and $75.00 at Sale
Sheriff Sales are conducted on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month.
Additional Fees
Additional Fees may be incurred for Evictions, Executions against Property, Writs of Replevin, or Writs of Restitution/Disposal of Personal Property if a deputy is needed to stand by. This fee is $60/hour per Deputy.
